The Taj Mahal Restaurants in Marmaris and in Içmeler have been serving their guests since 1997. During this period the Taj Mahal has became well known as the place for curry locally as they are the only authentic Indian restaurant in town. The Pupa Bar/Restaurant is located on the water front almost equal distance between the Mermaid Statue and Netsel Marina. There is also an entrance from Bar Street which makes it easy if you decide to continue your party on Bar Street late at night.

The Aquarium Café & Bar is one of the oldest and best known bars in Marmaris having been in operation since 1979, well before Marmaris because such a well known touristic destination. It is also has one of the most popular locations as it is located on the water front near the statue of the Mermaid, just below the Castle:

Anatolia is clean and neat small apartment/hotel. Next door is the well known Anatolia restaurant - bar. There are 14 one bedroom apartments each with a living room and kitchenette which has a refrigerator, cooker with two rings, kettle and coffee maker, shower, wc and balcony. The sofa can be converted into two extra beds. Air conditioning is available at € 35 weekly and safety box is available at € 10 a week.

Anatolia Apart and Bar is located close to the Thursday market. When you come from Tansas side come 400 metres down the old market street and turn to right just before traffic lights, Anatolia is just 25 metres down the road on the left side:

Anatolia - Maxwell II Apart & Restaurant

The Anatolia - Maxwell II Apartments are clean and neat apartments consisting of two blocks. There are 49 apartments in total on four floors. Most of the apartments are one bedroom apartments but there are a few with another small second bedroom. The apartments have a kitchenette, (refridgerator, cooker (electric rings), kettle, coffee maker, shower, wc and balcony. The sofas can be converted into two extra beds. All rooms have ceramic floors. Air conditioning can be arranged with reception for € 35 per week (some of the rooms has two air conditioning units). Safety boxes are also available for € 10 per week.
